1. Overview
This policy explains what personal information Clayot Interiors collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us, you may share your name, phone number, email, property type and location, the services you are interested in, and any message, photos or floor plans you send.
Project information. If you engage us, we keep site measurements, drawings, approvals, quotations, invoices and payment records, and photos taken on site.
Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
3. The quote form and WhatsApp
When you submit the quote form, the details you enter (your name, phone number, property type, the services you are interested in and your message) are saved to our enquiry records, which are hosted on Google Firebase. Only our team can view them, and we use them to contact you about your request.
If you message us on WhatsApp instead, the message is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy, and we receive it on our business WhatsApp account.
4. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange consultations and site visits
- To prepare designs, quotations and project schedules
- To carry out, supervise and hand over your project, and provide after-service
- To send project updates, invoices and payment reminders
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.
7. Project photos
We may photograph completed interiors for our portfolio. We do not publish your name, address or any identifying personal details with these photos, and we will not publish photos of your home if you ask us not to.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 12 months of our last contact. Project records are kept for as long as needed for warranty and after-service, and for the period required by tax and accounting laws.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting access to the team members who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it by law
- Withdraw consent you have given us

11. Children
Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
